NextHumans.com
Behind the Site
Why NextHumans.com belongs in my PremiumBrands showcase and how I look at building online.
I founded PremiumBrands.com to give selected domains a practical place in a buyer’s plans. NextHumans.com interests me as an identity that keeps people central to a changing working world. The question for a founder is which human need the first offer will address.
How I came to this approach
The move from i-Newswire.com, which I acquired in 2007, to Newswire.com in 2015 was an upgrade to the business. That experience informs my approach to PremiumBrands. I look at how an address fits the company’s subject and how it would be used in real communication.
For NextHumans.com, I would place the address beside the first invitation to participate. People should understand the activity and its purpose. The name can hold a wider ambition while the founder makes that immediate request practical.
Testing the first direction
NextHumans.com draws my attention to the people who have to use new tools during an ordinary working week. A founder can begin with a task they understand and help a team decide where technology belongs. That practical starting point matters more to me than an elaborate prediction about the future.
AI is opening the opportunity to prototype useful ideas to more people. My interest is in what those people can build for an actual audience, and what they learn when the audience tries it. A training offer or community needs its own purpose beyond curiosity about the latest tool.
Where this work happens
OnlineBusiness.com is my supporting strategy and development studio. The acquisition offering sits with PremiumBrands, where I discuss the domains with interested buyers. For NextHumans.com, a focused account of the learning, community or service idea makes that conversation concrete.
